From the Bride: We love anything outdoors such as hiking, mountain biking, camping, kayaking, and we recently fell in love with Crossfit. We've been dating for 4 years now and are very comfortable; lots of people think we've been married for a long time when they meet us since we act like an old married couple sometimes.
We first met while I was in high school at Collegedale Academy; he was six years older than me, so we had no interest in each other at the time. He was friends with my sister, Heather and we would run into each other at birthday parties and summer get-togethers. After I finished my mission experience in South Korea following my time at Southern, I moved back to Chattanooga and sought out a group of young people to connect with. I began attending the East Ridge Young Adult group and Ej was one of the few people I knew at these gatherings. We reconnected and enjoyed getting to know each other in a different setting. After about six months of being just friends, Ej asked to begin an official dating relationship with me. Since then, our hearts have been opened by God's amazing love as we learned to care for each other in the way that He prescribes. Getting to know and love Ej has been one of the best growing experiences I've been blessed to have. I am honored to be loved by such a wonderful man who knows and loves the Lord. I respect his hard-working spirit and drive to provide while honoring God.
