From the Bride: Well it started back in June of 2013. I had just started working for a grocery store in Seymour Tennessee. Ryan had already started there before me. But I noticed Ryan always would look at me and grin. I kinda thought he liked me. So one day as I was sitting on my break and Ryan approached me and said “Hi, my name is Ryan” in sign language. I could tell he practiced online. So me being sassy, responded with “Yes I know, your name tag says so”. We both giggled and then he asked if he could sit with me on my break. I agreed cause he was cute. We sat and wrote down our conversations on paper since he didn’t know a lot of sign language. Well everyday we worked together, we would beg to have our breaks together because we felt like best friends. Well Ryan asked me out, and the first time I told Ryan no, that I was not really wanting to have a boyfriend at the moment. Well we talked for a few more weeks and he asked me out again, and again I wasn’t ready to be in a relationship yet. So we kept talking everyday we worked and we enjoyed each other’s company. Well one day something happened in my family and I went to Facebook to ask for prayers. Ryan saw my post and messaged me and told me if we needed anything, don’t be scared to text him. He left me his number. Well I decided to text him just to talk and he said he really liked me and really really wanted to date. He asked me out a third time and I said yes, finally. I wanted to make sure he really wanted to date me before I said yes. Third time was the charm. Well that day was August 17, 2013. As time went on, we both went through life’s struggles and became closer and closer in our relationship. We started counting weeks, then months, then eventually we started counting years. Our love grew huge and we really enjoyed being with each other. Ryan learned a lot of sign language along the way. But our love story hasn’t ended, its just beginning. We have now been together for almost 8 years.
