Wright Wedding 2019 - Shoop-Shots Photography

The cliché phrase “The right place at the right time” had never been so true for Ross and I. We grew up 45 minutes away in two different time zones, so the chance of us meeting at a random place that led to marriage is a miracle in itself. I was 18 and he was 19 in June of 2018, when my dad who was a manager at a local factory finally decided to let my sister Sarah and I work there for the summer. I noticed Ross from the start, his big contagious smile was hard to miss and his goofy and loving personality was what I fell in love with right away, not to mention his good looks. I found out that he was a christian too so I would try to make conversation through that subject. After only a week of barely conversing with him I was absolutely crazy about him. I didn’t think he was very interested in me at all just because I knew he was way out of my league. I went home one day after work with intentions to see if he had an Instagram, and to my surprise he had already looked me up and followed me first. The next two weeks seemed like a month because Ross our of the country on a mission trip. For these two weeks, I prayed every single day that this would be the man that God let me marry. After two long weeks Ross finally returned to work on a Friday we talked all day long, and later that evening he finally messaged me. We began texting and calling each other every night and began to go on dates. Within only a month we were both very serious about each other and I knew that this was the man God gave me to marry. We dated for a little over 6 months, which were amazing. Not only did we grow closer to each other during that time but we grew closer to God as a couple. On February the 9th Ross took me to his dads field where we would often go on walks, so I didn’t suspect anything. When we started walking around he asked me “what is your idea of a godly husband” when I told him my answer he got down on one knee and said “well if I promise to be that for you, will you marry me?” In shock I just started crying and hugging him and then proceeded to tell him yes. We didn’t want a very long engagement so we set our date for July 6th 2019. The five months of our engagement was even better then the first 6 months of us dating. We grew so much closer through our engagement, and I can truly say that I have fell more in love with him every single day since. July 6th finally came and we were married, this was the absolute best day of my life. I thank God everyday for Ross and the husband he is to me, and I thank him that we were both in the right place at the right time.
